The family-friendly ski area of Almenwelt Lofer offers a fantastic variety of slopes in all degrees of difficulty.
On the scenic and 80 km large network of cross-country ski trails in the region, all skaters and classic cross-country skiers are sure to find the right track - the trail entrance is only a few steps away from our house. But also away from the slopes and cross-country trails there are many possibilities to spend your vacation: winter hiking, guided snowshoe hikes, ski tours, tobogganing, ice skating, curling or a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, just to name a few.
And of course, a winter vacation in Lofer also includes a hearty mountain hut party and atmospheric après ski! Very romantic and popular is an early evening hike to the Knappenstadl in Scheffsnoth near Lofer. With a bit of luck you can watch the red deer feeding in the silence of dusk. If you like, after all these impressions you can whiz back down to the valley by toboggan on an illuminated natural toboggan run.
